How we keep this trustworthy
Giglo connects people and businesses. Here is exactly what we do so it can be relied on — and, just as importantly, what we do not do.
Identity verification
Workers can verify their identity with an external verification provider, and employers see a clear marker of who has done so.
This is identity verification only — not a background check and not a criminal-record check.
Reliability score
The score is built from actual attendance at shifts, including no-show flags raised by employers.
It is not a star rating anyone can inflate — it is derived from what actually happened.
Your contact details
Your phone number is revealed only to an employer who has shortlisted or hired you, and that rule is enforced on the server.
There is no way to browse or export phone numbers — each one is revealed individually, and only after you have been shortlisted or hired.
Job post screening
Job posts are automatically screened for inappropriate content and held for manual review before they go live.
The screening applies to job posts — not to people.
Payment
Payment is made directly between you and the employer, on the terms agreed for the shift.
Giglo does not hold the money, does not guarantee it and does not transfer it.
