Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Giglo. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Giglo. Giglo is operated by Giglo AI Ltd (company no. 517372710), Kibbutz Barkai, Israel ("Giglo", "we", "us").
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Giglo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Giglo is
Giglo is an online platform that helps job seekers ("Workers") and businesses ("Employers") find each other for short-term and daily work. Giglo is a neutral venue and intermediary only. Giglo is not an employer, staffing or placement agency, or a party to any agreement between a Worker and an Employer, and does not supervise, direct, or control the work.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. Employers must be authorized to act on behalf of the business they represent.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person or business.
5. Identity verification
Giglo may offer or require identity (KYC) verification. You agree that any verification details you provide are truthful. Verification does not guarantee any user's identity, conduct, or suitability.
6. Worker and Employer responsibilities
Employers are solely responsible for ensuring their job posts are lawful, accurate, and non-discriminatory, and for complying with all labor, wage, tax, and safety laws. Workers are responsible for their eligibility to work, their conduct, and honoring commitments they accept. The work relationship is solely between the Worker and the Employer.
7. Payments and wages
Wages and any payment for work are arranged and paid directly between the Employer and the Worker. Giglo does not process, hold, guarantee, or take responsibility for payment, and is not liable for non-payment or any dispute about pay.
8. Fees and billing (Employers)
Giglo may offer paid subscription plans to Employers. The fees, plan features (including any monthly shift quota), and billing cycle are shown at the point of purchase. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Prices are in New Israeli Shekels (ILS), and VAT is added where applicable. We may change prices or plan features on reasonable prior notice, effective from your next billing period. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Cardcom; Giglo does not store full payment-card details.
9. Acceptable use
You will not post or do anything unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate; you will not misrepresent yourself or a job; and you will not misuse, scrape, or disrupt the platform. Giglo may screen, filter, restrict, or remove content and may suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant Giglo a license to host and display it as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you post.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Giglo does not guarantee that you will find work or a suitable Worker, or that any user or job is as described, and does not endorse or vet users beyond any verification it explicitly states it performs.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giglo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts, omissions, or content of Workers or Employers.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Giglo harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using Giglo at any time. Giglo may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or where necessary to protect the platform or its users.
15. Privacy
Your use of Giglo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue to use Giglo after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Tel Aviv district.
